About The Position

As a Functional Consultant, you will bridge the gap between complex federal accounting standards and modern technology, ensuring our D365 implementation provides the greatest overall benefit to the public good. What You Will Achieve Translate Mission Requirements: You will lead the functional configuration of D365 Finance to support complex financial processing, accounting, and reconciliation needs. Ensure Regulatory Compliance: You will verify that all system configurations align strictly with federal accounting and internal control standards. Support Organizational Transition: You will drive user application training and administrative support to ensure the client’s team is empowered to use the new system effectively. Optimize Financial Workflows: You will analyze existing brownfield processes and design improved, automated functional workflows that reduce manual complexity and improve reporting accuracy. Requirements

U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT from an accredited college or university
5+ years of experience deploying D365 Finance Applications on a managed, FedRAMP-certified SaaS platform.
Specialized understanding of Federal Accounting and reconciliation standards.
Experience working with federal or state and local government financial management systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience transitioning users from legacy environments to modern ERP platforms.
Ability to work alongside technical teams in an Agile environment to define user stories and acceptance criteria.
PMP or Agile Scrum Master certification.
