About The Position

Cytotechnologists are responsible for identification and rendering of diagnostic evaluation of cytological specimens (gynecological and non-gynecological) for abnormality, evidence of malignancy, or other diseases. Signs out negative gynecological specimen reports. Serves as a member of the FNA team providing on site adequacy evaluation of endoscopic ultrasound-directed and radiology technique-based fine needle aspiration (FNA)procedures and core biopsies. Cytotechnologists also provide the support for ancillary techniques and related interpretations. Will assist in the training of new employees or cytotechnology students. May perform quality control activities. Assist cytology management personnel with the gathering of data relevant to quality assurance activities, continuous improvement activities and/or special projects. Actively partner with team members by fostering an inclusive work environment and respecting others with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
