About The Position

Seeking energetic, team-oriented counselor for meaningful work with people admitted to our inpatient state-designated receiving facility. We provide short-term crisis stabilization and brief 1:1 & group counseling in a milieu setting. This is a 3rd shift (can vary between the hours of 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.) full-time position with a generous benefit package, including opportunities for tuition reimbursement. Some weekends are required. We welcome students who are working towards their master's degree and would like to become involved in a respected organization with flexibility and many paths for advancement. Requirements

  • At least one full year working in the mental health field is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field is required.
  • Commitment to teamwork
  • Self-Starter, Independent
  • Time management and organizational skills are a must.
  • Excellent communication ability with co-workers, staff, clients, and community partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference is given to previous experience working in crisis units/environments.
