About The Position

The Cycle Fill Technician at Polaris Pharmacy Services is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of medication cycles for patients. This role is integral to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of pharmacy operations, contributing to the overall quality of patient care.

Requirements

Proficient in the use of pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and documentation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with staff and clients.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and compliance standards.
High School diploma or equivalent required
Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice.

Nice To Haves

Previous pharmacy experience preferred (one or more years of long-term care experience preferred)

Responsibilities

Accurately fill and label medication orders according to established protocols and procedures.
Conduct regular inventory checks and manage stock levels to ensure adequate supply for cycle fills.
Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to resolve discrepancies and ensure patient safety.
Maintain detailed records of medication fills and inventory usage for compliance and audit purposes.
Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency of cycle fill operations.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company standards regarding medication handling and storage.
Provide support and guidance to junior staff members in the cycle fill process.
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with pharmacy practices and regulations.
