About The Position

Cycle Counter General Description : The Cycle Counter monitors all processes that impact inventory accuracy. The Cycle Counter reports to the Inventory Control Manager. Responsibilities : Support and follow the Company Safety Program. Physically count designated warehouses twice a month (on & off-site). Compare physical counts to system counts, determine discrepancies, perform cut-off of unprocessed transactions, and make necessary adjustments. Investigate root causes to discrepancies; categorize and propose corrective actions. Participate in physical and system procedure changes to eliminate inventory inaccuracy. Record results of inventory accuracy trends to designated individuals. Interact with many departments & supervisors. Assist in day-to-day operations in warehouses (receivings, excess, scrap, questions, frozen stock, training, issue/de-issue, pack types, and stockrooms). Monitor raw material utilization and raw material balances. Issue monthly inventory scrap list of material to be scrapped by buyers and schedulers. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to stack, unstack, load, and unload baskets and racks while maintaining proper organization and workplace safety standards. Other duties as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Inventory Control experience.
  • Knowledge of Excel or Word.
  • Analytical/math skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process and bills of material.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Computer literate.
