About The Position

Cycle Counter - 3-Month Assignment Cycle Counter 3-Month Temporary Position $22/hr General Job Duties To exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment. To demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement. To follow Company policies and display conduct expected of Clients' employees as described in the employee handbook. Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures of Clients' to provide for a safe and healthful workplace. Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order that the situation can be corrected. Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur. To meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of Clients'. Specific Job Duties Perform Daily Cycle Counts, research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and location reports. Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors. Identify and communicate opportunities to promote First-In, First-Out Provide feedback to management on mis-located parts. Assist all Warehouse Drivers in locating materials, as required. Provide daily Production Schedule for Punch and Weld Lines. Participate in the Engineering Change process as it relates to the Material function. Participate in meetings with engineering team to ensure changes are on time and complete. Maintain Plan for Every Part (PFEP) Database, as required. Drive PMHV, specifically a picker. Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities. Always maintain a clean and organized work area Cycle Counter Team Member Always follow all safety rules and regulations and report any accident, injury, or near miss to your supervisor immediately and report any unsafe work conditions in the workplace. Strive to meet or exceed departmental performance objectives on a daily basis as directed by Management. Any other tasks or projects may be assigned by Supervisor or Manager. Submit cost reduction and innovation ideas.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write and speak English effectively
  • Highly qualified in computer skills, MS Excel, Word, & Outlook
  • Strong administrative skills; detail-oriented
  • This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of eight (8) hours a day, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis, and the ability to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Cycle Counting experience, preferred.
  • Experience in Production Scheduling and Engineering Change Control, preferred.
