About The Position

Accurate inventory keeps our operations running smoothly. As a Cycle Counter, you’ll help maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting processes that keep materials moving correctly. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and collaborating with teams across the organization. The schedule for this position will be first shift Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with some flexibility offered to adjust hours.

Requirements

  • 3 years of inventory control experience or an associate degree in supply chain management, data analytics, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and the ability to become proficient in the ERP system.
  • Excellent math and analytical skills, including the ability to analyze Excel data, interpret trends, and draw conclusions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn, improve, and adapt.
  • Ability and initiative to perform most tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality of work

Nice To Haves

  • APICS, ISM, SCM, or similar certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and targeted cycle counts, document results in the ERP, and respond to unexpected shortages by shifting priorities as needed
  • Monitor inventory accuracy metrics, identify trends, and investigate discrepancies through transaction review, recounts, and physical verification
  • Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address root causes and process gaps
  • Create, maintain, and monitor inventory storage locations and material flow to support safe, logical storage and accurate picking and replenishment
  • Reconcile inventory data across systems (IFS, CQD, Redmine, Lotsheet) and review ERP transactions to verify accurate material movement and documentation
  • Coordinate identification, documentation, and disposition of obsolete or non-conforming inventory
  • Safely handle all materials, including chemicals and lab supplies, in accordance with SOPs, EHS regulations, and PPE requirements
  • Partner with warehouse, receiving, production, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve inventory accuracy
  • Support additional inventory accuracy initiatives as needed
