Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
  • 6 months warehousing/ material handling experience, preferred
  • Prior forklift experience
  • Must be able to carefully and safely utilize warehouse equipment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Basic PC knowledge.
  • Perform different job functions within the organizations warehouse department.
  • Must be able to follow procedures, best practices and report unsafe and unprofessional behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all products for both inbound and outbound freight, and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
  • Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/ or other requirements.
  • Research all inventory location problems (inventory errors, etc.)
  • Research shipping errors and complete validation.
  • Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate.
  • Responsible for any areas (including inbound, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.
