About The Position

The Cycle Counter/Material Handler is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory, performing cycle count duties, and storing and moving material to ensure accurate inventory control.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word required.
• Proficient with basic math.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds on occasion.
• General warehouse cleanup and housekeeping
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Conduct all interactions with supervisors, co-workers, vendors, customers, and field sales representatives in a focused, positive, courteous and respectful manner.
• Regular attendance is an essential element of the job. Unplanned absences have the potential to impair the operation of the department and diminish effectiveness of the company.
• Flexible with periodic change in hours when required.
• Cross train in multiple job functions
• Safely operate various material handling equipment (e.g stand up forklift, reach truck, sit down forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Cycle count raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
• Ensure materials are in proper locations and conduct searches to locate misclassified inventory.
• Report discrepancies of over / under amounts and any damaged products to supervision.
• Loading, unloading, identifying, labeling and putting away of inbound material.
• Pick, pull and distribute material to appropriate warehouse locations to support manufacturing and order fulfillment.
• Utilize JDE software to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, past activity and record material transactions.
