Warehouse - Cycle Counter / Material Handler
About The Position
The Cycle Counter plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels within a manufacturing environment by performing regular and systematic counts of materials and products. This position ensures that inventory records are precise, which supports efficient production planning and timely order fulfillment. The Cycle Counter collaborates closely with warehouse and production teams to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions promptly. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control and order picking processes.
- Ability to operate barcode scanning devices and maintain accurate records.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights safely.

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items using established procedures to verify stock accuracy.
- Utilize material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to access and move inventory safely during counts.
- Record and report discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records, collaborating with warehouse and production teams to resolve issues.
- Assist with order picking, shipping, and receiving activities as needed to support warehouse operations.
- Work overtime when necessary to meet inventory deadlines and support production schedules.
- Use barcode scanning technology to accurately track inventory movements and update records in real time.
- Support assembly line operations by ensuring the availability and accuracy of required materials.
