The ideal candidate would be available to work full-time for 12 weeks from May 18, 2026 to August 7, 2026 at one of our sites in the Houston, TX area. Why choose to intern at Ketjen? Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hrs/week)
  • Seeking sophomore or junior level candidates (any graduation date between Dec 2026 to Dec 2028)
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an ABET Accredited University majoring in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, or a similar discipline
  • Cumulative GPA 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

Nice To Haves

  • Prior industrial or manufacturing experience a plus
  • Ability to participate in multiple Ketjen Internship or Co-Op sessions is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Supported cybersecurity during an IT carveout by assisting in the secure separation of networks, systems, and access controls from the parent company
  • Conducted asset inventory and vulnerability assessments on newly transitioned systems, identifying risks and supporting remediation efforts
  • Assisted in identity and access management migration (e.g., Active Directory), enforcing least-privilege principles and removing legacy access
  • Supported the implementation of SIEM/EDR as part of the IT carveout
  • Collaborated with IT and compliance teams to implement new security policies, controls, document processes, and ensure audit readiness for the standalone organization
