About The Position

SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to join our team at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Job Duties: Support the modernization and integration of the Intelligence Foundation layer aligning sensors, data, and analytics with command requirements of the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) needed to execute Multi-Domain Intelligence. Maintain responsibility for assessment and estimation of gap analysis, requirements, development, test, and deployment of products and systems. Work closely with customers, senior leadership within programs, and other systems engineers and development engineers to comprehend customer objectives and requirements and develop solutions from the conceptual stage through delivery and field deployment. Comprehend customer objectives, CONOPS, and requirements and translate those requirements into an executable development plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: software development, hardware development, or mission support.
  • Experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53
  • Ability to work at the conceptual level and with program leads, customers, and internal teams to ensure successful system development, integration, and deployment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills for working with senior leadership and external customers.
  • Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Desired experience with systems engineering, program management, or requirements development.
  • Knowledge of some or all the following: data architecture, data dissemination, and information security planning.
