About The Position

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for a Cybersecurity Specialist within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. The Cybersecurity Specialist role is a senior-level professional focused on ensuring the security and compliance of AI and data solutions within the CIO7 framework. CGI Federal is growing its high-performance team whose members share a passion for building high-quality, scalable, advanced IT solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced, outcome-driven mission. This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Monitor & Detect: Use SIEM tools and other systems to watch network traffic for suspicious activity, malware, or breaches. . Implement Security: Design, install, and maintain firewalls, antivirus, encryption, and other security defenses. . Respond to Incidents: Investigate security alerts, mitigate damage from attacks, and restore systems. . Risk & Vulnerability Management: Conduct security audits, penetration testing, and risk assessments to find and fix weaknesses. . Policy & Training: Develop security policies and educate employees on best practices to reduce human error. . Research & Reporting: Stay updated on the latest threats and create reports on security findings and incidents.

Requirements

  • Education and/or Experience: Must have at least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with relevant certifications (CISSP)
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI
  • Certifications: CISSP
  • Travel: Must be available for worldwide assignment based on mission needs at government-specified locations, including CCMD environments.
