About The Position

Alluvionic is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead mission-critical initiatives, transforming security strategy into a tangible reality for partners and users. This role involves providing hands-on, day-to-day project leadership for active cybersecurity initiatives within a technically complex and risk-driven environment. The ideal candidate is a seasoned PM capable of stepping into an in-flight program mid-stream, stabilizing delivery, and maintaining momentum during a leadership transition. This is not a general IT Project Manager role; the successful candidate must be comfortable operating within security-focused domains, partnering closely with technical teams, and managing initiatives that span cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application security. This is a full-time, dedicated PM role with an estimated duration of 5-6 months for transition coverage, with a start timing within approximately 30 days. The work model is primarily remote with limited travel (estimated 25%) to Taunton, MA and Hilton Head, SC.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with demonstrated success delivering complex initiatives
  • Proven experience managing multiple large, complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong core project management capabilities, including: Project plans and integrated schedules, Task and dependency management, Risk and issue tracking, Executive level status reporting, PowerPoint based briefings and professional written deliverables
  • Cybersecurity fluency required, including exposure to: Cybersecurity programs, Infrastructure security initiatives, Application security efforts
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams without requiring hands on engineering experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide end end project management leadership for cybersecurity initiatives, from execution through delivery
  • Own and maintain project plans, schedules, task dependencies, and milestones across multiple concurrent efforts
  • Coordinate activities across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application security workstreams
  • Drive day day execution, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
  • Produce clear, concise status reporting and executive level updates, including PowerPoint briefings and written deliverables
  • Act as the primary point of accountability, ensuring projects remain aligned with delivery timelines and stakeholder expectations
  • Effectively communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to technical teams, leadership, and client stakeholders
  • Operate independently, exercising sound judgment while maintaining alignment with broader program objectives
