About The Position

As A Cybersecurity Operations Intern you will assist with monitoring security alerts, investigating threats, supporting incident response, and performing vulnerability scans, gain hands-on experience with security tools, analyze logs, and contribute to security documentation and awareness under senior guidance, focusing on protecting digital assets and learning real-world cybersecurity tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field
Knowledge of computer systems and software
Knowledge of network and system security
Familiarity with hardware and software installation
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology

Responsibilities

Conduct audits of endpoint detection and response (EDR) platform to validate detection efficacy, coverage gaps, and reporting accuracy.
Monitoring and responding to potential email security threats, including phishing, business email compromise, and credential theft.
Assistance with the deployment and upkeep of the information technology department’s security infrastructure.
Provide technical assistance to staff and customers on hardware and software-related issues.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software.
Contribute to security awareness and education efforts across the organization.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues.
Follow established procedures and processes for computer maintenance.
Provide training and support for team members on the use of computer systems and software.
Perform system backups and maintain accurate records.
Research and recommend solutions for technical problems.
Special projects i.e. Intune devices enrollment and network deployment.
Maintain equipment inventory.
