About The Position

Group 1001 is a consumer-centric, technology-driven family of insurance companies on a mission to deliver outstanding value and operational performance by combining financial strength and stability with deep insurance expertise and a can-do culture. Group1001’s culture emphasizes the importance of collaboration, communication, core business focus, risk management, and striving for outcomes. This goal extends to how we hire and onboard our most valuable assets – our employees. Why This Role Matters: We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Security Operations team as an Operations and Response Intern. This role puts you directly in the action of finding cybersecurity threats, investigating leads, and helping secure our company. You will work alongside our Incident Response, Engineering, and Threat Hunting teams performing alert triage, analysis, and participating in efforts to expand our automation and artificial intelligence capabilities. This is a hands-on role where the work matters: expect to see how modern cyber defense actually operates in production, not just in a classroom or lab. This internship will establish a solid and highly marketable foundation for entering the Cybersecurity industry, exposing you to modern tools and solutions operated by a lean, highly capable, and well-connected team. The internship will run from May 18 to August 7, 2026.

  • Are self-motivated, curious, and eager to take ownership of a real project
