About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on Cybersecurity Manager to lead our security initiatives within a dynamic financial services environment. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, you will manage a small team of two while collaborating with over 300 employees across the organization to ensure our cybersecurity tools and practices are robust, compliant, and effective in preventing threats. The ideal candidate will hold CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certification (CISO-level experience preferred) and possess strong technical expertise combined with leadership skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years in cybersecurity roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Hands on experience in Microsoft Purview, SentinelOne, Guardicore, Google Security Operations, Splunk, or similar threat monitoring, incident response, and security tools.
  • Ability to develop presentations and speak at our Global Cyber Committee, Executive Leadership and Board of Director meetings.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, protocols, and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and others relevant to financial services.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with strategic oversight.
  • CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer certification required; CISO-level experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the financial services industry, particularly within broker-dealer operations, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and mentor a team of two cybersecurity professionals.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness across the organization.
  • Oversee daily security operations, including monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Ensure all cybersecurity tools are properly configured, updated, and optimized to minimize risk and maximize resilience.
  • Work closely with 300+ employees across all departments to enforce security policies and best practices.
  • Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks aligned with industry standards.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
  • Lead remediation efforts following penetration tests and security assessments.
  • Develop and implement security strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory requirements in financial services.
  • Ensure the organization remains at the forefront of cybersecurity technology adoption, proactively addressing future threats with advanced tools and solutions.
