The Department of Computer Science and Cybersecurity (CSCY) at Southern Utah University (SUU) invites applications for two full-time, or non-tenure-track (NTT) or tenure track (TT) at the lecturer, assistant or associate professor levels faculty positions to begin August 2026. The candidate must hold a Ph.D. or DSc (for tenure-track) or MS degree (for non-tenure-track) in Cybersecurity or a closely related field. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment and ability to deliver high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, maintain an active research agenda (tenure-track only), and engage in meaningful service to the department, college, and university. Position includes benefits that may include relocation expenses for hired candidates for on-site employment. Incomplete applications will not be considered. First consideration date: 12/04/2025. SUU is primarily a teaching institution; thus, the successful candidate will have a strong record of teaching and will be given an opportunity to demonstrate his/her teaching skill in an on-campus visit. Primary responsibilities center around providing a quality educational experience in cybersecurity courses in a student-centered learning environment. Additional responsibilities include: Curriculum development. Scholarly activity. Active participation on service committees. Other duties as needed to support a robust and dynamic environment for student learning and support the continuance of the programs' accreditation.
