About The Position

Strong resiliency-focused engineering is essential to protecting Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) platform/weapon systems from increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. THE WORK In this role you have the responsibility of learning about the Trident program and working with the Trident cybersecurity team developing and implementing cybersecurity solutions. The successful candidate should have one or more of the required skills: - Professional or military experience with cybersecurity (defending computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic systems, networks, and data from malicious attacks) - Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. WHO YOU ARE You are an engineer who understands the importance of cybersecurity and our national defense. You can work independently or with a team. You have excellent communication skills and are interested in continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Engineering degree in one of the following disciplines : Computer or Cybersecurity from an accredited college with 1+ years of related professional experience.
  • Professional or military experience performing cybersecurity or information assurance tasks (vulnerability scans and assessments).
  • Professional or military experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
  • Security+ certification.
  • Must be a US citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional experience creating and reviewing cybersecurity artifacts needed to obtain an Authorization To Operate (ATO).
  • Professional experience with with Risk Mangement Frameworrk (RMF).
  • Professional experience with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
  • Professional expeience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
  • Experience with virtual machines (VMware).
  • Professional experience managing systems and networks.
  • Active Secret/Top Secret clearance.
