First Division Consulting is looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer III to lead engineering efforts across cybersecurity network lines — with a focus on supporting DoD C5ISR mission. The Sensing and Information Operations (SIO) IPT Engineering and Technical Support to Terrestrial/Human Intelligence Programs provide engineering and related technical activities such as cyber security, quality assurance, technical documentation development, configuration management and program management support services to the customer base within the Sensing and Information Operations (SIO) Integrated Product Team (IPT). This program provides small scale production efforts in support of prototyping and low-rate initial production systems which includes systems engineering for requirements, design, prototyping, and testing support.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent; and depending on PWS tasking, individual shall be certified as Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.1M Experience.
  • Ten (10) years of notable experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
  • Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • The contractor shall plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network.
  • Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
  • Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.
