About The Position

Position supports the United States Cyber Command(USCYBERCOM) where the candidate will coordinate directly with thegovernment in developing offensive and defensive cyber capabilities insupport of full spectrum military cyberspace operations. Additionally,the candidate will: Possess a thorough understanding and ability to apply intermediate concepts of cyber engineering and cybersecurity Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of the DOD cybersecurity policies and the Risk Management Framework Initiate actions to conduct cybersecurity engineering research andanalysis and provides recommendations for the implementation of securitymechanisms Initiate actions to apply advanced concepts of cyber engineering and cybersecurity to development and architecture projects Coordinate effort to develop cybersecurity documentation, conceptpapers, and test plans required by Command policies and the RiskManagement Framework Analyze complex information independentlyand takes appropriate actions, and reviews and implementsrecommendations from others Maintain extensive knowledge and understanding of DOD and/or IC engineering efforts, across multiple engineering disciplines Develop and delivers articulate and effective briefings/presentationson complex cybersecurity engineering topics as applicable to assignedprojects to any size audience that may include high-level decisionmakers Prioritize competing requirements and tasks, and manages long-term and short-term obligations Coordinate effort to develop all cybersecurity documentation, conceptpapers, and test plans required by Command policies and the RiskManagement Framework Initiate actions to evaluate functionaloperation and performance in light of test results and makesrecommendations regarding C&A Effectively provides engineering guidance to cybersecurity engineers Level I and II

Requirements

  • All applicants MUST possess an active TS/SCI (Top Secret) Security Clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Minimum 15 years of experience as a Cyberspace Operations Engineer or related functional field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • DoD 8140/DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification
