About The Position

The Cybersecurity Director is a strategic leader responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the cybersecurity strategy. This role partners with business units and executives to ensure that critical infrastructure and information assets are protected, risks are managed, and compliance is maintained across all operations. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Cybersecurity Director collaborates closely with the Director of Engineering and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive teams.
  • Lead threat detection, incident response, and forensic investigations, including penetration testing and malware analysis.
  • Work directly with customers to address cybersecurity needs and compliance with specification and contract requirements for custom built critical infrastructure systems. Coordinate with insurance providers to ensure proper coverage.
  • Collaborate with Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories and other testing organizations to identify system deficiencies, facilitate staff training, and pursue certifications.
  • Coordinate secure system deployments and remote connections with customer IT managers, administrators, and ACI internal teams.
  • Review project drawings and specifications to confirm cybersecurity requirements for deliverable critical infrastructure.
  • Monitor and verify ongoing compliance for all shipping systems and products.
  • Work closely with the Networking, Video Management System, Programming, Product Development, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that all new and existing products—including hardware, firmware, and software—meet established cybersecurity compliance standards.
  • Travel as necessary to engage with customers, vendors, and external partners to support projects and coordinate product testing activities.
  • Support sales and marketing in defining cybersecurity requirements for specifications and marketing materials.
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures for internal cybersecurity compliance.
  • Provide IT support and assist with other tasks as requested by the COO or Director of Engineering.
