Sabel Systems is seeking a senior Cybersecurity Analyst III with deep U.S. Space Force experience to support and lead cybersecurity compliance activities in highly regulated DoD environments. This role is designed for a seasoned cybersecurity professional who operates comfortably at the strategic, operational, and advisory levels, with proven credibility across Space Force stakeholders, particularly Delta 6. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience navigating DoD cybersecurity governance, authorizations, and compliance workflows, combined with the leadership presence required to influence technical teams, program leadership, and government counterparts.

  • Provide subject-matter expertise supporting Space Force cybersecurity requirements, with a strong focus on Delta 6 missions and environments
  • Lead cybersecurity compliance activities associated with DoD and Space Force systems, including preparation, execution, and sustainment of authorization efforts
  • Manage and maintain system authorization artifacts and compliance documentation within eMASS
  • Guide and support RMF-based processes, ensuring controls are properly selected, implemented, assessed, and monitored
  • Oversee cybersecurity governance activities, ensuring alignment with applicable DoD policies and directives
  • Act as a trusted interface between cybersecurity, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure compliance objectives are met without impeding mission execution
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to cybersecurity personnel, helping elevate compliance maturity and operational discipline
  • Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities within cybersecurity compliance programs and recommend corrective actions
  • CISSP certification
  • 15+ years of cybersecurity experience, including senior-level or leadership roles
  • Extensive U.S. Space Force experience, with demonstrated understanding of Space Force cybersecurity operations
  • In-depth knowledge of Delta 6, including its role, responsibilities, and cybersecurity mission space
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical teams, program leadership, and government stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with eMASS, supporting system authorization and ongoing compliance activities

  • Experience implementing and supporting the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
