Cyber Software Security Engineer Senior Level
About The Position
In this role, you will support the software cyber lead performing the following: Leverage software development experience in DevOps/DevSecOps, Software Factory, and Agile Serve as technical lead / acting team lead for small (4-6 member) software cyber team Gain/utilize cybersecurity skills (training provided) Collaborate with software development leadership to ensure cybersecurity best practices are incorporated in daily coding practices Collaborate daily with software development teams to reduce/eliminate/avoid software vulnerabilities Participate in cyber risk assessments and Cyber Table Top (CTT) reviews in support of Cyber activities Conduct cybersecurity evaluation of software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements
Requirements
- Significant experience with C++ in multi-team programming environment
- Experience with Git or similar version control system
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar
- Secret Clearance
- Possess or earn DoD 8570 IAT Level II, or higher, certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, etc.) within 90 days of hire (training provided)
