What would you do as a Cyber Security Engineer - Senior Level As a Cyber Security Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and security of our IT infrastructure.   • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Image Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, Geography , or a related field. Substitutions: 4 years of additional related experience may substitute for a degree, or 2 years of additional related experience may substitute when holding a non-STEM degree.
  • Minimum 12 years providing guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to clients and/or project teams in one or more of the following areas: Engineering and Technology Policy and Administration Program Management Planning and Analysis Training and Development Facilities Management Communications and Visual Design Human Capital Business Operations
  • Demonstrated experience delivering strategic guidance and direction in high-technology programs
  • Prior experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs or projects
  • Previous Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) program or project experience
  • Experience in Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, or Image Science
  • Strong knowledge of: Network protocols ( TCP/IP, IPSec ), Firewalls, Encryption, Intrusion detection systems
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex security problems
  • Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting security issues and implementing effective solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication , with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI access and pass a polygraph examination
  • Master's degree or higher in Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, Image Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems, Geography , or a related discipline
  • Senior-level experience in the engineering, design, and analysis of IT or related systems, including all phases of design, development, analysis, documentation, and creation of standards and guidelines
  • Senior-level experience with DoD/IC acquisition processes or Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES)
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) , including relevant processes, tools, and languages
  • Experience applying Agile software development methodologies
