About The Position

HII Mission Technologies is hiring a Cyber Security Specialist based at Beale AFB, CA. Beale AFB supports some of the Air Force’s most critical intelligence and mission systems. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you’ll protect these systems from advanced cyber threats, secure cross‑domain information flow, and strengthen the cyber foundation that enables global ISR operations. Your work directly supports mission success and national security. Requirements

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • DoD 8570.01‑M certification (Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC)
  • Strong communication skills across written, verbal, and graphical formats
  • Significant experience investigating network intrusions and performing malware analysis
  • Must be able to obtain a valid U.S. passport

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Experience with radio and data link configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience integrating and securing C4ISR systems
  • Ability to analyze IP packet captures with tools such as Wireshark or similar

Responsibilities

  • Analyze emerging cyber threats and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Investigate network intrusions, malware, and suspicious activity
  • Interpret new cyber policies and ensure mission system compliance
  • Maintain the integrity and security of global cyber systems
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and configuration assessments for Windows and UNIX systems
  • Support secure implementation of cross‑domain solutions (CDS)
  • Provide analytical and technical expertise to mission‑essential activities
  • Communicate complex cyber concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support secure integration of C4ISR systems
  • Analyze IP packet captures using industry‑standard tools
  • Support troubleshooting of radio and data link configurations (if applicable)
