About The Position

The Cyber Security Manager at DTNA is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected. The Cyber Security Manager will direct staff in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining processes across the enterprise to reduce information and information technology (IT) risks. They will respond to incidents, establish appropriate standards and controls, manage security technologies, and direct the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 8-10 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Extensive experience in information security and risk management.
  • Knowledge of Daimler Truck relevant regulations and protocols, as well as implementation experience in SITS.
  • Strong knowledge of security technologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure operations and technologies, applications development and standards
  • Must have in depth hands-on experience troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • An attached resume is required.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, MIS or similar Masters-level education is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Security Strategy: Create and execute an information security strategy that aligns with DTNA's business objectives. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess security risks and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Incident Response and Management: Lead the response to security incidents and breaches, including investigation and remediation. Develop and maintain an incident response plan and conduct regular drills.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Oversee the implementation of security controls and measures to meet compliance requirements.
  • Security Awareness and Training: Promote a culture of security awareness within the organization. Develop and deliver security training programs for employees.
  • Technology and Innovation: Evaluate and implement new security technologies and solutions. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of security professionals. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all business processes. Communicate security risks and strategies to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Cyber Security Re-Organization: Adapt and enforce the global cyber security strategy to the segment. Communicate segment demands to global cyber security. Ensure compliance with global cyber security solutions. Report consolidated cyber security status for the segment. Manage local security organization – collaboration between IT, OT, and Vehicle.
  • Security Operations: Oversee strategy, governance, and supplier management. Manage cyber incident analysis and response, threat intelligence, and operations. Handle DLP response and security intelligence tool operations.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance: Manage strategy and program management, policies, standards, and assessment. Oversee risk management and performance management.
  • Identity & Access Management: Manage enterprise and consumer IAM, IAM architecture, and specific IAM-related topics.
