About The Position

Primary Purpose of Position:

Assist the information security team in their daily tasks and assist with the
development of company-wide best practices for IT security.

Essential Functions:

Dedicated Project Work

Every Intern is assigned an impactful project(s).
Approximately 30% of time is associated with project work.
The scope of project(s) changes, but the impact will enhance the IS
Department at Boston Properties.

Internal Operations

Create and maintain documentation.
Conduct research on new technologies and products.

Requirements

• Currently performing coursework in Computer Sciences or a related field.
• Possess a service orientation and attitude in working with others.
• Be detail-oriented and methodical in solving problems and managing multiple projects.
• Possess an aptitude toward learning technical concepts. Be results-oriented and a quick learner in supporting new products and technologies.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and accounting practices.
• Possess a working knowledge of Windows 7 and Office 2010 and at least one software package in each of the following categories: word processor and spreadsheet.
