About The Position

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you’ll support day‑to-day security monitoring and incident triage across a diverse enterprise environment, working alongside experienced cyber professionals and managed security service providers. You’ll follow established playbooks, consume threat intelligence, assist with investigations, and build the practical skills needed to progress into more advanced cyber operations roles. This role is ideal for someone early in their cyber security career who already has practical cyber experience—ideally supported by a background in IT, infrastructure, or a junior SOC role—is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, and now wants to deepen their expertise in cyber operations within a structured, supportive environment.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years in cybersecurity operations, SOC support, incident triage, monitoring, or junior threat analysis—ideally in regulated sectors like financial services or critical infrastructure
  • Practical experience with security operations tools, including SIEM/SOAR (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Rapid7), EDR/XDR (e.g., Microsoft Defender), threat intelligence feeds, and following established playbooks
  • Working knowledge of core controls: Email security, MFA (email/VPN), secure web gateway (e.g., Palo Alto Prisma Access), WAF basics, patching support, backups, awareness training, and phishing simulations
  • Familiarity with infrastructure, networks, cloud (Microsoft-centric, AWS/Azure intro), and identity basics (Windows-focused)
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Monitor security alerts and assist with incident triage
