About The Position

Cyber Range Infrastructure Engineer The Opportunity: A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable operational cyber units to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? That’s why we need you, an experienced network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network Air Force needs. As a network engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in networking and virtualization, with a strong focus on architecting, implementing, and optimizing highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions. You will bring proven experience troubleshooting complex systems, streamlining operations through automation, and enhancing overall performance and reliability using on‑premise technologies. You will leverage your specialized, functional, and broad industry knowledge to develop solutions addressing challenges of varying scope and complexity. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools, including Ansible and Terraform
  • 2+ years of experience with networking, virtualization, and containerization technologies, including VMware, Docker, or Kubernetes
  • Experience working with cybersecurity technologies, enterprise network configurations, and operational systems such as Domain Controllers and DNS servers
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems, with strong understanding of application behavior and network traffic analysis
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • IAT Level II or IAM Level I Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to automate workflows through the design, development, and deployment of custom scripts, executable tooling, or application‑level automation solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, or information systems
  • GREM, GCFA, GCTI, CEH, or CISSP Certification
