About The Position

You will be the Cyber Quality Engineer for the Cyber Quality Engineering team. As the Cyber Quality Engineer you will be responsible for reviewing cybersecurity procedures, supporting daily cyber activities, and partnering with crossâfunctional teams to close security gaps. Requirements

STEM Degree at Bachelors level or higher preferably in one of the following related disciplines - Cybersecurity Engineering, Information Systems Security, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity Assurance, Cyber Defense, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, etc.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Security+ Certification
Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Understanding of network security, threats and vulnerabilities, cryptography and access control.
Knowledge of cyber security concepts for Test Equipment
Knowledge of Requirements, Design/Development and Test.
Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Effective communication skills including written, oral, listening, presentation and technical writing
Ability to travel (LM sites, suppliers, testing sites, etc.)
Ability to work outside of normal business hours such as weekend support or after 5pm.
Ability to be on-call when need to support program milestones.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -â¯This position is located at a facility that requiresâ¯special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secretâ¯clearance.

Strong knowledge of Quality Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001).
Experience working in different program phases (IRAD, Development, Production, Sustainment)
Corrective Action Board (Process, Command Media, Corrective Action, Preventive Action, Root Cause Analysis)

Responsibilities

Support the overarching operating procedures and processes for cybersecurity compliance.
Witness cyber inspections, scans, image builds, threat detections, vulnerability scans, assessments and testing.
Collaborate with Cyber Engineering, Security, and Test Engineering teams to embed bestâpractice security controls.
Facilitate and host quality meetings with crossâfunctional stakeholders to drive cybersecurity excellence.
Travel as needed to support program cyber activities and onâsite assessments.
