About The Position

Decision Technologies is seeking a qualified Cyber / IT Systems Desktop Support Specialist to support our Surveillance Radar In-Service Engineering and Logistics Support contract. This role provides hands-on IT and desktop support for Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) environments. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with strong communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and experience supporting secure government IT environments. ​Candidates MUST HAVE an active Secret Clearance to be considered.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance (required at time of hire)
  • Experience with Windows desktop system administration (Windows 11 required)
  • Familiarity with secure government IT environments (NMCI experience preferred)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have or be able to obtain certifications within 6 months of CSWF appointment.
  • CompTIA Security+/Security+CE
  • Microsoft Windows 11

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with secure government IT environments (NMCI experience preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive, professional desktop and technical support to NMCI, Nautilus, and RDT&E users
  • Perform desk-side and remote troubleshooting for hardware, software, and operating system issues
  • Execute software updates, patch management, and system configuration
  • Conduct software compatibility testing and system validation
  • Coordinate with end users to configure, procure, and deploy new hardware to meet program requirements
  • Track, inventory, and locate IT assets to support property audits
  • Prepare IT equipment for disposition and destruction in accordance with security requirements
  • Perform routine backup and recovery operations in support of disaster recovery and continuity of operations plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and support actions
