Requirements

5 years of experience in cybersecurity concepts and risk assessment/management methodologies.
5 years working with technical subject matter experts.
5 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
10 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Forms.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Security +, CISSP, or related cybersecurity certification.
U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract obligations, along with the ability to successfully pass a federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

Translate complex cybersecurity concepts and risk management methodologies into clear, accessible messaging for diverse audiences.
Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to gather and convey accurate, high-impact information across communication channels.
Develop and manage content for reports, presentations, briefings, and internal communications related to cybersecurity initiatives, risks, and strategies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align messaging and ensure consistency across projects, departments, and stakeholders.
Navigate fast-paced environments with competing priorities, managing multiple communication tasks and deliverables simultaneously.
Utilize Microsoft Office tools—including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Forms—to create polished and effective communication materials.
Utilize SharePoint to efficiently manage, organize, and share documents, collaborate on team projects, and track tasks in a user-friendly environment.
Ensure all content meets organizational standards for clarity, tone, and technical accuracy, adapting as needed for technical and non-technical audiences.
Apply foundational knowledge of cybersecurity and relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP) to effectively communicate technical risk, compliance, and security topics.
Leverage a background in English, Journalism, or technical fields to produce compelling narratives that support cybersecurity awareness, education, and engagement.
