GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general direction of the Custodial Services Manager, conducts evaluations of custodial contractor service for the Customer Experience Department on assigned shift. Performs regular inspections of facilities and surrounding areas to identify maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness issues inconsistent with standards. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducts custodial facilities inspections to ensure contract compliance assessments of DFW managed facilities. Assists in the development of custodial service contracts by proposing contract terms, conditions, specifications, and modifications. Responds to service requests to verify nature and extent of issues, verify corrective action, recommend solutions, and verify quality of work. Consults with Custodial Services Manager to reach mutually acceptable solutions when disputes arise with contractors. Enters work order related information into the Airport Total Asset Management System. Responds appropriately to customer complaints; investigates and takes corrective action or notifies responsible custodial service coordinators. Maintains written reports, logs and other documents as necessary. Performs trend analyses and monitor performance metrics. Performs regular inspections of facilities and surrounding areas to identify maintenance, appearance, and cleanliness issues inconsistent with standards. Assesses work in progress to ensure compliance with contract, safety, and appearance standards; follows up with responsible parties to resolve open issues. May be intermittently tasked with completing facilities maintenance assignments relevant to technical specialty during the absence of viable service contracts. Assists the Environmental Affairs Department in performing field observations of Airport activities with respect to potential environmental issues and notifies the Environmental Affairs Department of any observations that may have environmental impact.
