About The Position

The Quality Control (QC) Technician is responsible for carrying out established inspection processes in order to ensure conformity of Medical Devices post servicing for the release for use.

Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with and a minimum of two years related experience and/or combination of education and experience in quality.
This position requires exceptional verbal and communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.
Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to add, subtract, and match numbers.
Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Software and Microsoft Office Suite to include word, excel, and outlook.

Responsibilities

Test and inspect finished product prior to release.
Ensure timely inspection of devices are completed to meet daily and weekly orders.
Review device and work order of services performed to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Accurately follow established processes and procedures to inspect, test and release product.
Remain flexible, open, and eager to learn from fellow employees.
Identify trends in product failures.
Understand and execute principals of 5S workplace organization.
Performs other related duties as required.
