Performs financial clearance function for every patient on assigned worklist within the department approved timeline and using workflow tools as designed. Effectively works to resolve any identified or outstanding issues for the patients they have financially cleared at any time during the revenue cycle. Works on any special projects or initiatives related to the workflow of patient access with a mind open to change and with a full awareness of the focus on patient and provider satisfaction. Performs the patient registration and admission process. Provides excellent customer service to all patients, guests and family members. Performs other duties as assigned.
