What We Are Looking For Ceres Environmental Operations is seeking a Cutter to support production and operational efficiency by accurately preparing materials according to specifications, schedules, and safety standards. This role is an essential part of the production team and contributes directly to meeting quality, safety, and delivery expectations. Success in the first 12 months will be measured by accuracy, productivity, adherence to safety protocols, and reliability in meeting production deadlines. This role does not manage staff but works closely with supervisors and production team members. What to Expect In this role, you will work in a production or manufacturing setting where precision, safety, and efficiency are critical. The position requires standing for long periods, performing repetitive tasks, and working around machinery and noise. You will collaborate closely with supervisors and team members to ensure materials are prepared accurately and on time to support operational goals. Why Join CEO? Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read measurements, work orders, and basic drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a cutter or in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with cutting tools and industrial machinery.
  • Prior experience working in safety-sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, mark, and cut materials according to work orders, drawings, or patterns.
  • Operate cutting tools and machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.
  • Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and company standards.
  • Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, or production concerns to supervisors.
  • Meet production schedules and quality standards consistently.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by following best practices and operational guidelines.
