Customs Compliance & Logistics Assistant Responsibilities (Entry-Level)
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility and learning focus will be supporting the Duty Drawback process under the supervision of senior compliance staff.
- Assist with basic research to help trace import entries to corresponding export records.
- Gather, verify, and organize all required import and export documentation for Duty Drawback claims.
- Assist in assembling Duty Drawback claim packages for submission to U.S. Customs through the customs broker, under supervision.
- Maintain organized filing systems and tracking logs for claims and supporting documentation.
- Follow up on missing or pending information to help ensure timely claim processing.
- Provide general administrative and data-entry support to the department, including document review and audit preparation assistance.
- Assist the Compliance Department with special trade compliance audits and related projects as assigned.
- Support data entry and record maintenance for Fish & Wildlife requirements, including tracking brands that contain FW.
- Assist the Compliance and Logistics teams with daily operational and administrative tasks as needed.
- Provide backup support in Logistics
- Provide backup support for Export Logistics
