About The Position

Providing classroom or virtual (MS Teams) instruction to students ranging from beginners to Subject Matter Experts (SME) Providing over-the-shoulder instruction to students on various naval platforms and in lab environments Standing or walking for long periods and work on waterfront platforms during all seasons Using MS Office products to create and update training materials (guides, checklists, handouts, presentations) Validating user-level procedures for various command and control (C2) applications including TBMCS Reviewing technical manuals, user guides and other documentation Performing basic user-level troubleshooting of C2 applications Packaging, handling, storing, and transporting training materials and equipment Operating autonomously given broad objectives, rapidly changing deadlines FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-AM1

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience configuring and using command and control applications, e.g., Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS)
  • 3 to 5 years of operator/user experience in Operations Centers: USAF Air Operations Center Weapons System (AOC WS) or Control and Reporting Center (CRC) USN Tactical Air Control Center (TACC) USMC Marine Air Control Squadron (MACS) / Tactical Air Operations Center (TAOC)
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as onsite or positional trainer or classroom instructor
  • One year of experience with virtual instruction/remote learning
  • One year of curriculum development experience using: USMC Systems Approach to Training (SAT) model USN Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (P+ADDIE) model USAF Plan, Analyze, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) model

Nice To Haves

  • 5 to 8 years of experience as onsite or positional trainer or classroom instructor
  • 5 to 8 years of operator/user experience in Operations Centers

Responsibilities

  • Providing classroom or virtual (MS Teams) instruction to students ranging from beginners to Subject Matter Experts (SME)

  • Validating user-level procedures for various command and control (C2) applications including TBMCS
  • Reviewing technical manuals, user guides and other documentation
  • Performing basic user-level troubleshooting of C2 applications
  • Packaging, handling, storing, and transporting training materials and equipment
  • Operating autonomously given broad objectives, rapidly changing deadlines
