About The Position

Provide comprehensive admissions, to prospective Complete numerous functions related to the processing of admissions applications and supporting the admissions department Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Provide admission, services to students, college employees, and the general public Admissions processing for admissions applications/communications/transcripts/additional documents as needed. Provide support services for the Admissions Department Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the reputation of the organization as a viable business partner.

Requirements

  • Experience with database management skills sufficient to perform the duties of the position.
  • Customer service skills (phone, and in person) sufficient to perform the duties of the position to give prompt, courteous and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through e-mail and other written correspondence.
  • Possess keyboarding skills, word processing using Microsoft Word or equivalent software, sufficient to produce memos and correspondence in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Spreadsheet skills are sufficient to develop and modify electronic spreadsheets.
  • Data entry skills sufficient to read, receive and review source documents, compare documents to database information and edit, code, and correct documents.
  • Demonstrates an effort to improve cultural competence and actively takes steps to include diversity training in professional development.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security concerning all information received and documents processed with Admissions.
  • Knowledge of or experience in any of the following: admission, records and registration processes and procedures.
