The purpose of the Customer Service Representative - National Accounts is to perform day-to-day account management responsibilities to foster and ensure positive client relationships with BEK customers. This job requires excellent people skills. You must respond in a friendly and accommodating manner to customer’s daily challenges and questions via telephone and email. This person must possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment. This position will require that you learn specific knowledge of customers’ order guides and practices. • Covers will call counter (if needed) • Responsible for special shipment of customer orders using, UPS, FedEx, or Parcel Post • Covers National Account Manager vacations and sick leave • Interact with clients on assigned accounts to maintain positive relationships with BEK customers and ensure the fulfillment of the customer agreement. • Discuss any outstanding issues with the customer to ensure customer satisfaction. • Consult with Unit Level Supervisor to resolve customer issues and/or complaints. • Monitor order activity to ensure accurate purchasing and customer satisfaction. • Review and monitor orders daily to ensure accuracy in products and purchasing amounts. • Check out-of-stock items daily and perform necessary action to ensure resolution. • Perform follow-up as needed. • Perform daily operational activities, inventory management and reporting. • Review the GP Daily Exception report and resolve issues as they arise. • Manage the inventory process, including new item introduction and LTO product monitoring. • Work with the Transportation and Operations Managers to resolve transportation and other operational issues. • Monitor inventory issues and work with the Inventory Manager to resolve as appropriate. • Perform additional duties as directed by the National Accounts Manager.
