About The Position

As the first contact for callers, to support the Bank customers in a professional, friendly, courteous and confident manner. To assist customers with account concerns and information on Bank services available and deal diplomatically with customer complaints. Perform a variety of duties in a branch support and clerical capacity. Comply with regulations and policies of Bank as established. Provide administrative support including special projects. Comply with regulations and policies of Bank as established.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year financial service experience.
  • General clerical experience.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls and direct to proper department for assistance.
  • Respond to customers and vendors and direct to proper department for assistance.
  • Document drafting, report preparation and document verification as needed.
  • Clerical and filing duties as needed.
  • Handle customer support inquiries, as well as researching and resolving customer concerns via telephone and mail.
  • Act as the customer liaison between other Bank departments when necessary.
  • Assist customers and employees with inquiries and issues related to deposit accounts (excluding IRA and HSA), loans, debit/ATM cards and electronic banking products.
  • Cross-sell Bank products and services based on the needs of the customer, as well as meet sales and referral goals as assigned.
  • Maintain, update, and verify customer and account maintenance.
  • Provide feedback to management of critical issues, interest, and concerns of customer to support ongoing efforts to improve products and services.
  • Assist customers and employees with inquiries and issues related to deceased customers.
  • Perform Banker duties if staffing demands require.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
