Summary Provides on-site technical support that requires creative problem-solving, using a consultative approach to end users on a variety of issues including but not limited to, computer hardware and software, security and network connectivity. Identifies, researches, resolves technical problems and possesses a thorough understanding of the products or services being offered.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree Information Sciences and Technology related field
  • Preferred work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
  • 2 years Progressive experience in Information Sciences and Technology related field
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze and solve technical problems.
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills as well as being self-motivated.
  • Intricate knowledge of the use of mobile devices, networking, personal computers, printers, and computer terminology.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, computer hardware/software and peripherals.
  • Must be friendly, courteous, presentable, service-oriented, flexible and enjoy working with all levels of staff.
  • Must be able to visit multiple business and education locations. (Dependent on employment location)
  • CompTIA A+ Certification - State of Pennsylvania within 1 Year

  • DL - Driver's License_PA - State of Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

  • Configure, deliver, install, and validate technical equipment as requested
  • Perform on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics of hardware and software
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
  • Communicates information in a timely, accurate and concise manner that fosters a collaborative environment.
  • Maintains inventory records of hardware and peripherals
  • Adheres to LVHN Technology defined standards and policies
  • Develop knowledge base data based on trends to support self-service problem resolution and problem tracking metrics
