About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Customer Success Engineer – Commercial in the United States. This role provides a unique opportunity to drive customer success and maximize the value clients receive from advanced data security solutions. As a Customer Success Engineer, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring customers effectively adopt and realize the full potential of the platform. You will engage directly with clients, translating business needs into technical solutions, delivering tailored onboarding and training, and helping solve complex challenges. This role involves proactive engagement, mentoring colleagues, and collaborating with internal teams to influence product development and continuous improvement. Travel is required to foster strong customer relationships and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly technical, consultative, and skilled in driving adoption, retention, and expansion within commercial clients.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, with a strong track record of customer adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, databases, SQL, scripting languages (Python or equivalent), APIs, and web services.
  • Familiarity with data security concepts such as DLP, Data Privacy/Protection, DSPM/CSPM, SIEM, or vulnerability management.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with development teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with experience leading executive meetings and technical workshops.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical expert for customers, demonstrating deep platform knowledge and consultative expertise.
  • Drive adoption and ensure customers achieve their desired business outcomes by designing and delivering customized solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, influencing customer strategy and maximizing return on investment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth operation and seamless experiences.
  • Monitor customer health and usage indicators, develop joint success plans, and conduct regular business reviews.
  • Advocate for customer needs, providing feedback to inform product development and roadmap priorities.
  • Mentor and support team members, sharing best practices and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
