We are seeking a dedicated and service-driven Customer Solutions Representative to support workforce services within a high-impact Career Center environment. This role plays a critical part in connecting job seekers to employment opportunities, community resources, and career advancement tools. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing setting and is passionate about guiding individuals toward meaningful employment outcomes.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and individuals with varying communication styles
  • Skilled at managing challenging situations with professionalism and empathy
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask across systems and service programs
  • Comfortable learning and using computer systems, word processing, and spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with leadership, coworkers, board staff, and community partners
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license with proof of insurance and good driving record required
  • Minimum six months of relevant experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of workforce development programs, career counseling services, or local labor market trends is preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers by phone, virtually, and in person to assess employment goals and service needs
  • Assist job seekers transitioning into new employment opportunities
  • Review job openings and provide referrals to qualified candidates
  • Provide guidance on the local job market, employment services, educational pathways, and community resources
  • Support customers with resume development, application completion, interview preparation, and professional presentation
  • Build cooperative working relationships with internal staff, external partners, and the public
  • Contribute to Career Center performance goals, including customer service standards and follow-up activities
  • Identify opportunities to improve workforce services based on labor market demands
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational objectives
