Join us in building the future of green finance. Why Join Us? We’re looking for a Customer Solutions Engineer to join Banyan as the founding implementation hire on the Customer Success team. This role blends process design, systems thinking, and hands-on implementation to translate customer workflows and data into scalable solutions within the Banyan platform. You will own complex customer implementations end to end while also designing and operationalizing Banyan’s implementation practice, including the processes, playbooks, tools, and templates that enable successful customer onboarding and expansion as we grow. This is a hands-on, project-based role. You will engage deeply during onboarding and major module deployments, then transition out once solutions are live and stable, with re-engagement as new modules, integrations, or complex use cases arise. This is a true builder role with outsized impact on how Banyan delivers value to customers. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS implementation, solutions delivery, or solutions consulting roles
  • Demonstrated experience mapping customer processes and translating them into software workflows
  • Experience building, scaling, or significantly refining implementation or onboarding practices in a startup, early-stage, or high-growth SaaS environment
  • Strong expertise in data architecture, APIs, workflow automation, data mapping, transformation, and validation
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to drive complex, multi-stakeholder implementations from discovery through go-live
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to guide customers through both process change and technical configuration
  • Startup mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity, building structure, and owning outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Strong proficiency with core financial principles and complex financial data sets.
  • Experience with project finance or infrastructure workflows is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive end-to-end implementations for new customers and major module rollouts
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact during onboarding and complex integrations
  • Map customers’ existing business, financial, and operational processes and translate them into streamlined workflows within the Banyan platform
  • Map and validate data from disparate customer systems into clean, scalable data import processes and reporting views
  • Configure platform modules, dashboards, and process flows aligned to customer business goals
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and scalability throughout the implementation process
  • Design standardized onboarding frameworks and implementation project plans
  • Create reusable playbooks, templates, tools, and implementation documentation
  • Define best practices for process alignment, data mapping, validation, reporting, and handoff to Customer Success Managers
  • Continuously refine implementation approaches based on customer learnings and scale needs
  • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure smooth post–go-live transitions and product adoption
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineer to inform pre-sales solution designs and plan for post-sale implementations
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to share customer insights and recurring implementation patterns
  • Inform product roadmap decisions with real-world customer workflow and implementation feedback
