About The Position

ION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country. We are searching for a motivated and professional individual to join our Customer Service team. Customer Service Specialists aim to answer all questions that customers may have about their solar projects, and provide helpful solutions to their problems while seeking to create a positive experience.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • Great active listening skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and rapport-building skills
  • A patient and empathetic attitude
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Experience in customer service or call center roles preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Solar experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Action all inbound calls, texts, and emails.
  • Monitor live chats in Bird-Eye
  • Assist with one-off, special projects assigned by your supervisor or manager
  • Learn the solar process in-depth, and become a solar expert.
  • Complete outbound calls to return voicemails, and follow up with Customers.
