About The Position

Leads day-to-day operational activities pertaining to truck checking in and trucks checking out. Coordinates with truck drivers, requesting the proper pick-up/drop off information. Effectively coordinates with sales and yard supervisors regarding trucks in yard. All while maintaining a safe a clean work environment.

Requirements

Speak and read English.
Ability to read and understand industry specifications, charts, and tables
High school diploma or GED
Basic computer skills.
Must have average reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
Takes initiative and able to work independently
Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Customer Service Skills
Excellent Communication skills

Nice To Haves

Bilingual Spanish preferred
Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

Effectively communicates with department supervisors and upper management.
Utilizes email to communicate with Sales and operations departments
Manages the truck check in screen.
Manages and monitors changes to orders currently checked in.
Notifies the loading supervisor of any changes/request made by sales.
Coordinates with Sales with requests (priority levels, removing orders from check in & expediting a truck)
Processes and handles packing lists and delivery tickets.
Makes sure all outbound drivers sign out properly and take pictures of the truck.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment
