About The Position

EURO-COMPOSITES® Corporation is looking for a Customer Service Supervisor to join their team! Located in Culpeper, Virginia, EURO-COMPOSITES® Corporation is one of the global leading manufacturers of lightweight composite products based on honeycomb core. The product range consists of various types of honeycomb, panels, formed, milled parts and drop-in parts for a wide range of industries and especially for the aeronautical industry. This position reports directly to the Sales Department Manager and oversees the activity as well as performance of other Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) within the department. The supervisor interacts daily with key customers to provide information and solutions to customer needs, supporting all other customers in the absence of subordinate customer service representatives and during other times of need.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills to include telephone and written correspondence.
  • Ability to operate office equipment to include PC, Fax, Scanner and phone system.
  • Eye for detail/accuracy.
  • High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Trains, explains tasks, and manages activities of all other CSRs within the sales department.
  • Receives key customers' requests by telephone or mail, analyzes requests, provides information requested or determines who can provide the information, and routes the request to that proper person.
  • Traces status of orders through each department.
  • Maintains customer contact information and resolves customer questions related to orders, takes orders as needed.
  • Maintains liaison with other departments for order completion.
  • Writes up order, mails catalog, samples, price quotations, and similar data to customer, as required.
  • Responds to customers' requests via telephone or mail, using typewriter or personal computer when necessary.
  • Understands needs of the department and coordinates or takes on training in weak areas as necessary.
  • Contacts customers to ascertain data omitted on orders.
  • Has knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, drop ship items, and similar data, as required.
  • Prepares and forwards preliminary paperwork to Returns and Replacements on problem orders.
  • Has an understanding of all customer business and needs in order to direct others in the way each unique customer requires.
  • In compliance with Global trade and follows ITAR flow downs for international customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
