About The Position

Ichor Systems is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in delivering an excellent customer experience. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role manages the full lifecycle of customer orders—from order entry and confirmation through delivery, invoicing, and issue resolution—while coordinating closely with cross-functional teams across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong customer focus, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to process large volumes of data with accuracy. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, an approachable and collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an on-site position at our Austin, TX location.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Order Entry Clerk, Sales Administrator, or similar role
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Work independently with moderate supervision
  • Proficiency in data entry and management
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
  • Aptitude for understanding a wide array of part numbers and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Process customer inquiries
  • Perform order entry with a high degree of accuracy
  • Contact for Customer Inquiries, orders, complaints, RMA’s and quotes.
  • Enter customer orders into database accurately and promptly
  • Verify order details for accuracy and completeness
  • Provide order confirmations to customers
  • Communicate with customers to resolve order discrepancies
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of orders
  • Collaborate with sales and warehouse teams to ensure order fulfillment
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs
